How should I prepare for my first meeting with a lawyer?

Gather all relevant documents, papers, letters, tickets, etc., relating to your case. If you’re not sure about something, bring it in anyway. It is always better to have too much information, then to be missing something on the case. Make a list of names and contact information of anyone who may potentially be a witness. If you have a lot of questions for the attorney, make a list, so you don’t forget any when you get there.
